Appeal Court Upholds Joseph Nwobike’s Conviction

The Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, on Thursday, December 19, 2019, upheld the conviction and sentencing of Dr. Joseph Nwobike, SAN, to one-month imprisonment. Nwobike was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, before Justice R.I.B. Adebiyi of the State High Court, Ikeja, Lagos on an 18-count charge bordering on an attempt to pervert the course of justice.
