Three Convicted for Fraud in Maiduguri

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC Maiduguri Zonal Office on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 secured the conviction of Fannaram Adama on a one-count charge bordering on criminal breach of trust to the tune of N949,000. Adama, who was first arraigned on December 5, 2019 before Justice Umar Fadawu, was accused of converting to personal use, the sum of N949,000, which was meant to be the share of the victim, after the house of her late son was sold and the money shared among his heir and hers.
