Court Sentences Two Brothers to One Year Imprisonment for Fraud
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Benin Zonal office, on Thursday November 21, 2019 secured the conviction of two brothers, Wisdom Onojiolou and Omorodion Onojiolou before Justice M.G Umar of the Federal High Court sitting in Benin, Edo State on a two count charge of intent to defraud and obtaining under false pretense. The duo fraudulently obtained the sum of Fifteen Million, Four Hundred Thousand Naira ( N15,400,000.00) from one Philian Uwadiae under the pretense of helping her to establish a business in Benin.
