EFCC Files Fresh Charges against Ex-NEMA Director Over Alleged N54.5m Fraud

Justice Jude Okeke of a Federal Capital Territory, FCT, High Court, Maitama, Abuja, on Thursday, June 27, 2019, adjourned till October 3, the continuation of trial of the former acting Director, Special Duties, of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Umesi Emenike John over alleged N54, 500, 000 (Fifty Four Million, Five Hundred Thousand Naira) only fraud. Umesi is facing a four-count charge for offences bordering on misappropriation and diversion of funds allegedly committed in February, 2019.
