Alleged N950m Fraud: EFCC Closes Case against Ex-Kano Gov, Shekarau
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has closed its case against the former governor of Kano State, Ibrahim Shekarau after presenting four witnesses and tendering several exhibits. Shekarau is being prosecuted by the EFCC alongside two others, Aminu Bashir Wali and Mansur Ahmed for allegedly collecting the sum N950 million from the former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Deizani Alison-Madueke for the purpose of influencing the outcome of 2015 general election.
