EFCC Arraigns Deputy Director for N138m Fraud, Forgery

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on April 11, 2019 arraigned Dr. Bassey Etim Ikang, a Deputy Director in the office of the Head of Civil Service, before Justice Modupe Osho-Adebiyi of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT High Court, Gudu, on an eight-count charge bordering on issuance of dud cheques and forgery. Ikang is alleged to have issued dud cheques of N40 million, N20 million, N18 million and N60 million at different times to one Okenna Oguneche, Managing Director, Fortress Project Limited.
