EFCC Docks Internet Fraudster

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Lagos Zonal office, on Monday, March 25, 2019, arraigned one Owoeye Opeyemi, a suspected Internet fraudster, before Justice Sherifat Solebo of the Special Offences Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos. Opeyemi was docked on a three-count charge bordering on forgery and possession of documents containing false pretence. The accused was arrested following intelligence report received by the Commission about some fraudulent activities involving him and some others.
