Court Orders Forfeiture of Building, Suspected to be Proceeds of Crime
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Maiduguri zonal office on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 secured an interim order of forfeiture for uncompleted building located at 37 AV Road, Barracks Road, Jimeta Yola, Adamawa State. The forfeiture order was made by Justice Hammada Isa Dashen of a Federal High Court sitting in Damaturu, Yobe State, consequent upon a motion ex-parte filed by the Commission seeking for the interim forfeiture of the said building, which is suspected to be the proceeds of financial crimes for which one Sulaiman Musa Bazza is under investigation.
