Court Convicts Three for Internet Fraud in Benin
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Benin Zonal Office on February 11, 2019 secured three convictions at the Federal High Court sitting in Benin City, Edo State. One of the convicts, Oriaifo Oselumese, was arraigned for fraudulently obtaining the sum of 18,000 Euros from one Leong Sao Chu, a Chinese citizen through a love scam. He pleaded “guilty” to the one-count charge.
