GoVT. Notice No. 977 The Public Holidays ordinance (chapter 152) ID EL FITR in exercise of the powers conferred upon the governors by the public holidays ordinance, the officer administering the government has declared that Wednesday the 27th day of July, 1949, shall be kept as a public holiday in celebration of the Mohammed an festival of idel fitr 2. public notice no. 118 of 1949 is hereby cancelled by his excellency's command.
