NATIONAL HONOURS (AMENDMENT) DECREE 1979 Decree No. 65 [14th September 1979] THE FEDERAL MILITARY GOVERNMENT hereby decrees as Commence ment. follows : 1. Immediately after subsection (6) of section 1 of the National Honours Amendment Act 1964, there shall be inserted the following new subsection (7), that is- of1964No. 5. "(7) Notwithstanding subsection (4) of this section, the power to make awards in pursuance of a warrant under this section shall, in so far as it relates to police medals, be exercisable by the Nigeria Police Council." 2.
