The following Bills, which will in due course be presented to Parliament for enactment, are published for general information. THE ,INSURANCE (MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS) BILL EXPLANATORY MEMORANDUM The purpose of this Bill is to secure the investment in Nigeria of certain reserves held by insurance companies for the purpose of meeting local risks and of the ·funds maintained by insurance companies for the purpose of satisfying their liabilities under life insurance policies and policies of a similar nature.
