National Household Kerosene Price Watch (April 2022)

Executive Summary The average retail price per litre of Household Kerosene (HHK) paid by consumers in April 2022 increased by 4.48% on a month-on-month basis from N564.55 in March 2022 to N589.82 in April 2022. On a year-on-year basis, the average retail price per litre rose by 62.63% from N362.68 in April 2021. The state profile analysis showed that the highest average price per litre in April 2022 was recorded in Ebonyi with N704.44, followed by Ekiti with N695.56 and Imo with N658.33.
