Integrated Biological and Behavioural Surveillance Survey 2007 - Second round

This report highlights the findings of an integrated biological and behavioural surveillance survey (IBBSS) in Nigeria among groups whose behaviours or occupations often place them at higher risk of contracting sexually transmitted infections (STI), including HIV. In the 2007 IBBSS these groups included female sex workers (FSW), both brothel- and non-brothel-based, men who have sex with men (MSM), injecting drug users (IDU), transport workers (TW) and men and women in the uniformed services (armed forces and the police).
