National Literacy Survey Nigeria-2009 - First Round

Determine the magnitude, level and distribution of mass literacy (persons aged 15 year and above) Obtain comprehensive data and information on mass literacy from literacy providers and stakeholders in both private and public sectors Identify issues of concern which need to be addressed in the promotion of mass literacy in the country Determine the number of persons aged 6 – 14 that are out of school Ascertain number of persons mainstreaming from non-formal to formal education or vice versa
