Nigeria - Support for NEITI to Effectively Monitor Bid Rounds, Processes on Petroleum Prospecting Licenses, and the Issuance of Mining Leases - Project Completion Report

Following audits carried out by NEITI in 2006-2008, it was found that the guidelines and procedures used for bid rounds and the award of mining licenses, were developed in 1999, and did not adequately meet the transparency threshold required by international standards.
